Poor People Cord Organization
13th of September, 2009
The plastic, zipper-top baggies were $2.17 after tax. I had the colored paper and the rubber bands I use to hold the cords all together. There are better methods, certainly, but not for the cost, and I needed something right now if I wanted to stay married, which I did.
Also, the font is Futura, which has been on my mind a lot since Ikea abandoned it after 60 years.

I need to show Jacob this…he will totally geek out on it!
I like organization. You ought to try using the ponytail holders shaped like an 8 with the plastic ball on each loop to keep your cords from uncoiling. Keep one half of the ponytail holder secured to one end of the cord, even when you are using the cord. When you need to coil it back up, it’s already there.
I agree with you, Renee, but have to wait till payday to head to the dollar store for ‘em. I think it’ll take the orginization to the next level. Question, though: do they work for skinny cables like those for the iPod?
I know I’m late in responding, but… You know. Kids and all. Anywhooo, I would not use them on iPod cables. Just use the nice Figure 8 technique Christopher likes so much. It works nicely. I’m not going to try to describe it in words, though. I can’t.
